Finance Assistant

Reports to: Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director

About the role:

This person will be a critical member of the finance department, responsible for assisting in the execution of fundraising throughout North Carolina 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with finance director and deputy finance director in developing and executing in-state finance program
  • Oversee in-state fundraising events schedule and the team’s execution of events
  • Cultivate, build, and maintain relationships with high level donors
  • Staff events and candidate as needed
  • Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with a political campaign or committee is preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
