Cheri Beasley Meets with Greene County Voters on Standing Up for North Carolina Tour

Beasley Spoke About Her Commitment to Lowering Costs and Bringing Good-Paying Jobs to North Carolina

RALEIGH: Today, candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley brought her “Standing up for North Carolina” tour to Greene County to hear from voters about their concerns and to discuss her commitment to standing up for North Carolina.

“Like many rural communities, Greene County is filled with hard-working people trying to make an honest living, but unfortunately these communities are often left by the wayside by Washington politicians. Today, I spoke with North Carolinians about ways we can combat droughts and flooding, lower costs and bring good-paying jobs to North Carolina, and how I will fight to strengthen our rural economies in the Senate,” said Cheri Beasley.

The campaign will continue holding stops statewide over the next few months with events to reach voters across the state, including roundtables focused on hearing from small business owners, community conversations on issues that matter to North Carolinians like lowering costssupporting North Carolina’s farmers, and creating a Made-in-America economy, tours of vocational and training facilities, North Carolina companies, and more.
