About the Position: 

Cheri Beasley for North Carolina is searching for an Operations Director to join a growing team. The Operations Director is responsible for scheduling, office management, and other essential logistical duties for the campaign. The Operations Director reports directly to the Campaign Manager, but will also work closely with other department directors to coordinate and manage the candidate’s schedule and on other projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the candidate’s schedule in close coordination with the candidate, Campaign Manager, and other departments
• Communicate scheduling expectations and shifts proactively with the candidate and team
• Monitor office supplies and procure new furniture, appliances, electronics, stationary, and other goods as required
• Support with campaign events and media shoots
• Other duties as assigned by Campaign Manager

Qualifications:

• Operations experience with a campaign or issue organization preferred, but not required
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and anticipate needs
• Strict attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work irregular hours
• Access to a laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
